Hi Jennifer,
The lines were created using a great ArcScripts tool (link below). It was built for 9.2 but still runs in 10.0. The origin was a point in Sudan and the destinations were selected Twitter points.

Hello. I am currently a student obtaining a degree in GIS. I have been trying to find a way to show network linkages and I was wondering if you could let me know how you linked/connected the point "tweet" locations with lines?? I cannot figure out an efficient way to do this with Arc.
