00:01Just a few other things I want to mention regarding Desktop.
00:05With 10.1, improvements in imagery is everywhere with faster visualization, better analysis...
00:14...the ability to take massive amounts of imagery, pour them very quickly into mosaics, and do advanced processing on them...
00:24...mensuration or measurement on images, and also integrating full-motion video from camera models such as drones...
00:33...reconnaissance drones, and overlaying that with GIS work.
00:38And also automated enhancement and registration.
00:41You know, a huge amount of work has gone into 10.1 with imagery as another primary driver project.
00:48Really, imagery, all the workflows are simplified across the system.
00:53Also lidar. There's just a massive amount of lidar that organizations and agencies, state, local government, and private...
01:02...and commercial organizations are collecting, and this is incredibly valuable data.
01:06And, 10.1 really uses it well, and not only uses it well through visualization but analysis as well.
01:12Taking Lass files, dynamically integrating them, using them in the raw format, converting them to raster TINs...
01:19...using them as point clouds, and also just supporting them as a first-class citizen in the system that's...that's really great.
01:28Learn, but if you're interested in lidar, your organization has lidar, take some time to learn about that.
01:34Also, 3D is advancing in addition to ArcGlobe and ArcScene and the capabilities there.
01:40There's a brand new capability with CityEngine that is...is a new software product that we have, formerly a company called Procedural.
01:50If you're interested in 3D, cityscape design, urban analysis, advanced visualization, you know...
01:56...really being able to take those 2D building footprints and bring them to life in three dimensions...
02:03...but not just building streets and, really, all of the assets that you may have.
02:08Seek out and visit the city, the CityEngine sessions here. This is really good stuff.
02:15So the other thing is, all of you as attendees, have been invited to use the prerelease software.
02:22An e-mail went out. Hopefully you got that, and we want you to use the software right now, if you're not doing it...
02:28...because we want you to test it with your workflows.
02:32As I said, we're planning on shipping the software in June.
02:34If we find some things that we need to address that we don't know about right now, you can really help us do that.
02:41If you responded to the e-mail that we sent you, that's great.
02:44If not, you can request access to the prerelease software at esri.com/requestprerelease.
02:53The activations are done through our customer care portal.
02:56And also, most of the software, a lot of it's on that USB drive, that 16 gig flash drive that you got.
03:03So you can download it from the customer care portal or it's already on that...that drive.
03:08And there's some really valuable stuff on that drive.
03:11There's runtime projects. We'll be talking about that later so...so, yeah, use it.
03:18Let us know what you think, because we're shipping it.
