00:01As Sud said, we have a very rich selection of web APIs.

00:04I can build HTML 5 in JavaScript applications using our JavaScript API.

00:09Oops. Sorry. I can build Flex applications or Silverlight applications.

00:15These web APIs target both the hosted services on ArcGIS Online but also your ArcGIS Server.

00:23And in ArcGIS Server, you have the full range of GIS server capabilities, including dynamic mapping, imagery...

00:29...and geoprocessing.

00:32But, you know what? We've had these web APIs for four years, and you guys have built some outstanding applications.

00:38Just take a few minutes to look at some of the things that you've done.

00:41This application shows night on earth.

00:43It's updated automatically every minute showing the sun angle and so forth.

00:49This is a great example of an application within the context of an organization.

00:54In this case, there's 311 that the citizens report generate work orders...

00:58...and then it's all managed at the back end by the City of Hudson Work Order Application Manager.

01:07Or here's an application that shows you the campus facilities structures, in particular, college.

01:17I really know what this one is, but I really like the map.

01:19I think they did a good job there.

01:24Or this one which shows you sea ice change in the North Pole.

01:31Recovery.gov. This is a great example of the federal government publishing out information as targeted focused applications...

01:37...so that they can let the citizens of the US know where the money's going.

01:44This application highlights solar panels within the city.

01:50Or the West Virginia infrastructure and jobs application does the same thing as the federal example...

01:59...but showing you the demographic information around the city.

02:05CitySource is a business partner that helps you build 311-style applications and basically sells the whole package.

02:14I really like this one. Mars Orbital Data Explorer.

02:17So all of the data layers that we have on Mars and the moon are now exposed in a very simple application.

02:26This is a great application. Washington DOT Vessel Watch.

02:30So every 15 seconds as these ferry locations are updated and displayed on screen in real time.

02:39And finally, the City of Seattle publishes out weather, road conditions, and also, you know, videos of what's going on in the city.

02:49So there's many different applications.

02:50And you know what's great about all of these ones I just showed you?

02:52They all look different. They all have different user experience.

02:55They're targeted towards their end-user application.
